Maldives
In the name, "reethi" is the Dhivehi adjective for "beautiful". Reethi Haa and Hudhafaru form one of the five Laamu sites chosen by the ENDhERI project (GEF/UNEP) for a baseline assessment of the atoll's environmentally significant areas. The nudibranch Goniobranchus geometricus has been photographed at the site. In the Laamu region, manta rays are sighted year-round, and sightings have historically peaked from May to June and from October to November.
