The house reef stretches for about 8 km along the coast, with about 1.5 km to the north and 6.5 km to the south. Colorful reef fish are part of the scenery, and in the morning turtles pass by. In the late afternoon, dolphins are not rare. Moray eels stay among the corals, and boxfish are also part of the site's marine life. In the El Quseir area, March to May and September to November are usually considered the best months to travel, because June to August is very hot.
