The resort that gives this Sahl Hasheesh house reef its name opened in 1997 and was formerly called Sonesta Pharaoh Beach Resort. The reef has plenty of colourful fish and corals and, especially in its farther section, is healthy and colourful. With some luck you can see sea turtles, and three of them have been reported on the reef, one small, one medium and one large.
