The Neptuna was a minesweeper and later became one of the first diving safari boats in the Red Sea. On 29 April 1981, serious seamanship errors while moving to another anchorage made it strike the reef, and it sank stern first within a short time. The hull has been considered missing since the sinking, but remains such as a generator, suitcases, a radar and a tank lie on the sandy bottom. Night dives sometimes take place at the site.
