Egypt
The Mohamed Hasabella was an Egyptian trawler, the type of fishing boat that is still common in the area. It is 23 m long and lies 30 m from the El Mina wreck. Because it is a recent wreck, its history is probably known only to the local fishing community.
The hull is intact and sits upright on the bottom, and there is a lot of equipment on the deck that is worth looking at. Pink and purple soft corals are starting to cover the hull, especially around the propeller. There is often a school of fusiliers above the deck and scorpion fish around the wreck. There is also a 3D photogrammetry model of the wreck.
Fishing nets are still spread around the hull, so some caution is required. The recommendation is to swim back to the El Mina and ascend along the line, because a free ascent is dangerous on this busy route. Usually only one dive is made on the Hasabella, and to see the El Mina as well in the same dive, a 15-liter tank helps a lot.
