Maldives
The ocean side has healthy hard corals and abundant macro life, along with yellow and orange soft corals. In the blue, tunas, barracuda, rays, eagle rays, schools of blue fin trevally and jackfish pass by. On the corner there are schools of snappers and a 'rain' of fusilier, and huge coral tables cover the channel. While drifting in the channel, you will typically hear dolphins' whistles. In Huvadhoo, diving is recommended during the northeast monsoon, from January to May.
