Maldives
Most of the dive is spent under large overhangs, and the wall and ceilings are covered in yellow soft corals. Out in the blue, tuna, eagle rays and reef sharks appear. Parrot fish, groupers, schooling fish and, at times, turtles are often spotted. In Haa Alifu, manta rays typically appear from November to March, and the sea usually calms from the start of December until May, before the monsoon.
