Maldives
The thila has overhangs on the southwest side and a hard coral garden on the northeast side. The hard corals are healthy, there are schools of bluestripe snappers, and groupers, dogtooth tuna and eagle rays also appear, while lobsters hide beneath rocks and corals. There are also records of octopus, spiny lobsters and moray eels at the site. In Lhaviyani, the best time to encounter sharks usually runs from December to April.
