Maldives
The site is described as good for underwater photography.
Small to large coral blocks on the slope and on the sand host plenty of fish, and snappers, rays, lobsters and nurse sharks are seen here. There is also a large sandy bay, where sharks and stingrays like to rest. In the coral blocks bordering it you can find shrimps, lionfish and little moray eels, as well as schools of fish.
In North Malé, the northeast monsoon, from December to May, is usually dry with gentle breezes. From November onwards, the channels and pinnacles of the region usually receive pelagic life, such as manta rays and sharks, which are also usually seen throughout the year. From late May to July, conditions might be less than ideal, and most liveaboards usually go elsewhere during this period.
