Maldives
The hard coral blocks shelter juvenile fish, cleaner wrasse, triggerfish, shrimps and nudibranchs, which pleases photographers. The cleaning stations are visited by eagle rays, sea turtles and, in the right season, manta rays. In the Lhaviyani region, mantas tend to appear in two seasons, from October to November and from February to April, depending on plankton.
