Maldives
The site is a bay in the reef with a big central sandy patch, in front of the island of Reethi Rah. It is one of three similar dives on the outside reef of Medhu Finolhu (Reethi Rah); each starts in a small inlet in the reef and slopes down to a sandy bottom. On the oceanic side there are schools of Platax and blue-striped snappers. Eagle rays can show up year-round, and manta rays are usually seen from December to April.
