Maldives
The reef looks like a subway tunnel open on one side. Soft corals in many colors hang throughout the tunnel. In the middle of the channel there are coral blocks.
Small life includes scorpionfish and snails, and the big animals include groupers and stingrays.
In the Dhigali region, from May to November the water tends to be rich in plankton, a period when it tends to be manta season around Dhigali.
