On the reef slope there are large coral heads, brain corals and leather corals. In Addu, looking out to the blue you can spot eagle rays and white tip sharks swimming by.
In Addu, diving around the full or new moon tends to bring stronger currents, which bring more big fish to the channels, like manta rays and sharks. From July to September the weather and visibility tend to be good, with fewer people at the dive sites.
