The coral blocks scattered off the beach are home to clownfish, small damselfish, trumpetfish, boxfish, pufferfish and parrotfish. With luck, nudibranchs, lionfish and a giant triggerfish turn up, along with goatfish and other schooling fish. On the house reef, a blue-spotted stingray and garden eels have also been seen. The stretch right in front of the pier where the dive boats depart is named as the most interesting part of the reef.
At the end of March, the sea has been at around 22 degrees. On this coast, March can bring strong wind during the day, and it is worth having warm clothing for the boat.
