Lonely Mushroom sits sheltered behind the reef system and is one of the dive options when the open sea is rough. The tower is small, and the classic dive circles around it, with the surrounding plateau to explore. On this plateau around the tower there are amphoras.
It is a macro site, with nudibranchs and small shrimp in abundance, hiding among the numerous soft corals and the small hard coral heads. On the tower, anemones host clownfish.
The site can be hard to find, because the mooring buoy fixed to the reef is sometimes difficult to spot from the surface.
