Little Channel North

Inside the channel there is a cave landscape thickly covered in life, and the reef reaches the surface, which makes the dive easier. There are also many large fish in the channel.

A diver who stayed at Filitheyo in April 2009 singled out Little Channel North, along with the South one, as especially good, because they did them by scooter. In Faafu, the good season is usually considered to run from October to March. At the sites of North Nilandhe, a diver recorded in 2000 many turtles, frequent sharks (more whitetip reef sharks than grey sharks), eagle rays and stingrays, barracudas both solitary and in schools, napoleon wrasses (Cheilinus undulatus) and, rarely, mobulas.
