Despite its name, shared with a shallow 14m Tenerife site named for brain-shaped sponges, these coordinates sit in Puerto del Carmen bay, Lanzarote, inside a Natura 2000 zone dense with volcanic lava caves and swim-throughs. Entry here is from shore, not boat, over black basalt reef in saltwater year-round. Confirmed depth, visibility and current for this exact point aren't documented, but the surrounding bay ranges roughly 0-40m with 15-30m visibility, best December-February. Expect common octopus, dusky grouper, black moray and parrotfish resident on the rock, plus seasonal angelshark and ray sightings September-November. Best suited to divers comfortable with shore entries and volcanic swim-throughs who don't need guaranteed numbers before committing.
