Maldives
It is a medium-sized thila that has crumbled over the centuries and formed canyons and tunnels in the reef, with the top block surrounded by large boulders. The steep-sided canyons are covered with sea fans and soft corals. The site has large schools, many batfish and soft and hard corals, and the reef on top is very healthy. Snapper stay on top; a ball of fusiliers attacked by trevally and 20 or more batfish behind a coral head have also been seen. Down below there are rays, peacock mantis shrimp, octopus and big lobsters.
