Maldives
The thila is about 350 m in diameter, so only one side is dived at a time, usually the east. The whitemouth moray is a common sighting at the site. A 2015 report also mentions an albino moray that never leaves the thila and had been seen there for years, with no current confirmation. In the Haa Alifu region, the sea usually calms down in early December and stays that way until May, before the monsoon. The manta season in the atoll usually runs from November to March.
