A volunteer fish survey at Kudhibili Giri recorded 69 species. The survey also recorded the Oriental Sweetlips, the Coral Grouper and the Two-spot Snapper. In Vaavu Atoll, the dry season usually runs from December to April, with little rain and little wind.
