Kudey Kandu is described as a well-defined reef corner, used as a comparison for the large, rounded corner of the Toshi Caves. At the corner of the reef there are coral blocks with soft corals (including Dendronephthya hemprichi), gorgonians, and table, staghorn and whip corals. In Noonu Atoll, the dry season, from January to May, is usually the best time to dive, while the rainy season runs from June to November.
