Maldives
"Kandu" means "channel" in Dhivehi. Large schools of rainbow runners, tuna and jackfish pass through the sandy channel. Stingrays rest on the sand, eagle rays soar above and reef sharks stay in the blue. In the middle of the crossing there are two shallow pinnacles, a great place to spot moray eels and schools of reef fish.
