Maldives
Near the base of the wall there are four large boulders that look as if they broke away from the 'bite' in the reef above. In the small canyon of the 'bite' there are black corals, batfish, masked bannerfish and soft coral. The wall attracts Moorish idols, long-nosed butterflyfish, unicornfish, blue-faced angelfish and clown triggerfish, and in the recess at its base there are gorgonians, whip corals and groupers. The variety of fish is great, with small species such as the bird wrasse and the ring-eye hawkfish, as well as large morays.
