Maldives
Clouds of four-line snapper and fusiliers are chased by dogtooth tuna and blue trevallies, and there are also schools of sweetlips and mackerels. Stingrays rest in the overhangs among soft corals and sea fans, and there are groupers in the small caves. The many small overhangs also shelter nurse sharks and turtles, and anemones are present in great numbers. In the region, from June to November, manta rays are usually found at cleaning stations.
