Maldives
On the night dive, turtles resting on the reef, whitetip reef sharks hunting, moray eels, nudibranchs, redtooth triggerfish and pufferfish have been seen. In Vaavu Atoll, the dry season tends to run from December to April, with little rain and little wind. From May to November, the atoll tends to have more wind and rain, and tidal changes and wind tend to bring plankton blooms, which can attract filter feeders such as manta rays and whale sharks.
