Maldives
The name comes from a W-shaped sandy plateau at the northeast corner of the island, opposite Fuvahmulah's historic lighthouse. The coral blocks hold a great variety of reef fish, such as butterflyfish, angelfish, anthias and damselfish, as well as gorgonians and soft corals; for macro lovers, there are nudibranchs, flatworms, shrimp and crabs. Because it is sheltered, the site is usually accessible all year.
