Maldives
The name Hoholha Gaa means "rock with overhangs", in reference to the ledges and recesses of the site. The recesses shelter long-nosed hawkfish, red anemones and juvenile reef fish. Looking closely, nudibranchs, cleaner shrimp, moray eels, lionfish and fusiliers also appear. To see mantas, in the region, on the west side of the atolls, the period from December to April is usually pointed out as the most favorable.
