Maldives
It is the local operator's home reef, with a reef flat used both for Discover Scuba dives and for night dives run by instructors. The lagoon has nurseries of coral reef fish.
Near the beach, you can see rays and giant moray eels every day. Reef fish, octopuses, eagle rays, lionfish and barracuda also appear; with luck, a stonefish and a pelagic species.
It is usually possible to dive at the site throughout the year.
