Maldives
The name Halaaku Thari Thila means "broken star thila", and the reef's topography has exactly that shape. At the southern end of the site there is a narrow, almost vertical wall that attracts many reef fish and is home to moray eels. In Lhaviyani Atoll, visibility is usually best from May to December.
