Maldives
The waters are calmer than at some of the more exposed pelagic sites in Fuvahmulah, with a chance of encountering mantas and sharks. In Fuvahmulah, oceanic manta rays are usually seen seasonally, with a peak between March and May. Aggregations of scalloped hammerhead sharks also appear to be seasonal, with most sightings between February and May and between October and December.
