Maldives
The giri has a sandy plateau covered in coral formations and huge overhangs full of soft corals. Stingrays are often seen on the sandy floor of the caverns. In Meemu you can dive all year round, but the best conditions tend to be in the dry season, from December to April, with little wind and little rain. Around June, the sea in the atoll is sometimes too rough for boats, and it is worth checking with the dive center.
