A volunteer fish survey at Geydhoshu Thila recorded 86 species. Among them are the Midnight Snapper, the Titan Triggerfish, the Regal Angelfish, Clark's Anemonefish and the Slender Grouper. In Vaavu Atoll, the dry season usually runs from December to April, with little rain and little wind.
