Maldives
In the alternative name Fihali Faru, “faru” is the Dhivehi term for a reef edge that breaks the surface and encloses a lagoon. Divers who logged the site mention clownfish, eagle ray and green turtle. The site lies at the inner entrance of the Kuda Kandu channel, described as a small channel full of life, with schools of jackfish, snappers and barracudas. Addu's lagoon is a natural anchorage accessible through four channels, and Kuda Kandu and the neighbouring Maa Kandu are in the north of the atoll.
