Maldives
"Beyru" means outer reef in Dhivehi, and the dive passes large caves, overhangs and swim-throughs dotted along the way. Green turtles, moray eels, nudibranchs and leaf fish are found in the overhangs. In the blue you can spot tuna, barracuda, schools of eagle rays and reef sharks. The Felivaru Fisheries Complex was opened on 3 February 1978 as a joint venture between the Maldives government and Nippon Suizan Kaisa Limited of Japan.
