Maldives
The name uses "thila", the Dhivehi word for "underwater island". The highlight here is the corals and small fish: there are red gorgonians everywhere and large clumps of anemones with clownfish. A large lobster, a ball of glassfish and a white-tip reef shark also show up. Groups of fusiliers and basslets complete the scene, and sharks tend to be seen early in the morning. It is not a big-fish site, such as mantas and whale sharks.
