Maldives
Near the site there is a second reef covered in leather corals, with garden eels and stingrays on the sandy bottom. Well-camouflaged leaf fish can be found among the corals. The name comes from Dhivehi, in which "faru" is the edge of a reef that breaks the surface and encloses a lagoon. In Shaviyani, conditions tend to be excellent from November to May, with few rainy days, and the monsoon tends to run from June to November.
