Sheltered by the north reef of Marsa Mubarak bay, El Aruk Goa can be dived in all weather conditions, and it is reached by crossing a stretch of seagrass. Large parrotfish nibble at the coral, and the green sea turtles that live in the seagrass come to rest on their favourite coral blocks. In the region, Marsa Mubarak is among the dugong sighting sites on the Egyptian Red Sea coast.
