Maldives
It is a drift dive along the northern reef of Hithadhoo, with a top reef rich in corals and small reef fish. Turtles can be found there, and it is not unusual for a manta ray to pass by the divers. Right at the corner there is a small plateau with nice corals and sandy patches where feather-tail stingrays sometimes appear. On most of the site the coral is very nice. It also works as a more relaxing drift dive to start or end a trip.
In Addu, the 2016 El Niño (coral bleaching) caused huge damage on the outer reefs. In the southernmost atolls (Addu, Fuvahmulah and Huvadhu), December to March is usually the best time to dive.
