Egypt
Daedalus's eastern wall is full of crevices where rays of light filter in from the top of the reef. It is often the final part of the north point dive, or the third dive of the day, and, like the western wall, it is done as a drift to the south point. Barracudas and jacks pass along the wall, and at the corner between the north and east faces, where the current splits, there is a good chance of seeing a large pelagic in the blue. Near the two lagoons on the east side, hammerhead sharks usually come up from the depths, and along the wall sharks may appear at any depth. In the Daedalus area, the sea tends to be calmer from June to August.
