Maldives
The giri has a rocky relief, with many overhangs, break-offs and eroded cavities. These overhangs, break-offs and caves are covered with colourful soft corals, black corals and fan corals. The northwest and west sides of the giri hold an immense variety of fish. In Noonu, the high season usually runs from January to April, when sea and weather conditions are best.
