Capo di Conca, reached by boat from Praiano marina, is effectively two dive sites in one. The North Wall plunges to 60m and is rated medium to very difficult, with technical profiles possible for trained divers; the adjacent South Wall tops out near 40m at a medium-high grade, better suited to solid advanced divers than newcomers. The North face erupts in color: dense gorgonian fans and black coral coat vertical rock while thousands of anthias hang over open blue. Fissures shelter moray eels, spiny lobsters, red scorpionfish and octopus. A recreational entry nearby descends through a thick Posidonia meadow before meeting rock. Minutes away, Secca dei Gamberi shoals from 15m with seabream and a shrimp-packed cave. Dive May to October for the calmest, warmest Amalfi Coast conditions.
