The north reef of Brayka Bay is varied, with beautiful coral formations, tunnels, overhangs and pillars. With its calm, protected waters, the north side of the house reef usually allows diving there all year round. Some parts of the coral have suffered the consequences of coral bleaching.
Turtles, moray eels and squid are residents of the reef, which also counts reef sharks and rays among its marine life. In the bay, a hawksbill turtle sometimes swims along the drop-off, and bluespotted stingrays and crocodilefish appear on the sandy beds.
