Maldives
The corals are very beautiful and there are many schooling fish. Because it lies in a channel, the site holds bigger surprises, such as hunting nurse sharks. Reef sharks in large numbers are part of the routine. In 2008, the site was described as packed with thousands of blue-striped snappers, with sharks, eagle rays and beautiful hard corals.
