The site was already listed as Beybe Hoholha (Caves) in a diving leaflet published in March 2016. In Dhaalu and Faafu, diving is possible year-round, but visibility and manta encounters are usually better from December to April. During the southwest monsoon, from May to October, currents tend to be rich in nutrients, which tends to increase the chances of seeing mantas and pelagic fish in Dhaalu.
