Maldives
It is a manta cleaning station, where up to 30 manta rays attended by cleaner wrasses can pass by. There are also schools of blackfin barracudas, Spanish mackerels, snappers and Andaman sweetlips. Manta rays frequent the thila, which also has typical reef dwellers, macro species and large schools of fusiliers. The boulder of the thila is covered with hard corals, so buoyancy needs attention.
