Egypt
Aruk Diana is a cluster of seven pinnacles, known as ergs, and the middle one is cracked in two. This split erg can serve as a navigation reference at the start of the dive. The El Erug field of ergs is home to several moray eels, such as yellowmouth, giant, snowflake and peppered morays. In the area you are also likely to come across napoleon wrasse, blue spotted rays, crocodilefish and scorpionfish. Copper sweepers hide in the crevices of some El Erug ergs, and a group of lionfish can sometimes be seen attacking smaller fish.
