Maldives
In 2013, sharks, turtles and rays were almost always seen on the house reef. In 2016, large, curious batfish, many parrotfish, Cephalopholis miniata, surgeonfish and Plectorhinchus vittatus were seen on the table corals. There were also many crown-of-thorns starfish, which the staff regularly collected from the reef and disposed of on land.
