Maldives
About two years after a coral bleaching event, Adhanga ranked among the three locations with the most live coral cover out of the six surveyed in Ari and Faafu. The coral-eating snail Drupella is present on the reef, and Adhanga had one of the highest densities among the locations studied. It was also the only one of the six locations studied where Drupella showed a feeding preference for the coral genus Hydnophora, and there it also preferred Pocillopora.
